The Hero Indian Super League has partnered with Facebook to launch augmented reality masks for fans, thus becoming the first entity in the country to implement this technology on the social media platform. This initiative will provide fans with a unique opportunity to express their support for their favorite club. ISL followers will now be able to exhibit their club’s colours through state-of-the-art 3D face masks using Facebook’s augmented reality camera.
The face masks, which can be applied to photos and videos, will be available to fans of all 10 Hero ISL Clubs across the globe from today. Fans of ATK, Bengaluru FC, Chennaiyin FC, Delhi Dynamos FC, FC Goa, FC Pune City, Jamshedpur FC, Kerala Blasters FC, Mumbai City FC and NorthEast United FC, can express their allegiance using face masks, which utilise club colours and their anthem to give fans a distinctive opportunity to back their team.
